VSoft was established on the 6th of February, 1996, as a Corporation with its headquarters in Atlanta, USA. The promoters of the company, Murthy Veeraghanta and Shekar Viswanathan, started VSoft with a vision to establish the organization as a global provider of financial technology solutions that improve service, reduce cost and maximize efficiency. Today, nearly 2000 financial institutions globally use VSoft’s portfolio of over 20 products that straddle the image-enabled payment processing and core banking domains.
In the year 2006, VSoft announced its focus on the Asian market by establishing VSoft Technologies Pvt. Ltd. with its headquarters in Hyderabad, India. In the same year, sensing opportunities in the core banking space in the Indian co-operative banking sector, VSoft Technologies acquired the assets of Coopman Consultancy, a product shop based in Bangalore, India. Coopman had an established core banking product and a ready customer base of over 30 co-operative banks. The number of Co-Operative banks using VSoft Solutions is growing with the quick modernization of Co-Operative bank sector in India.
CoreSoft and SuVikas are core banking solutions that VSoft caters to banks and financial institutions. While CoreSoft is deployed mainly in North America and Atlantic regions, SuVikas is developed for banks in the Asia and Africa regions. Other VSoft’s notable solutions are their Check Truncation System and their item capture products.
